Ceramic Portrait Commission – 50% Deposit

Commission a unique hand-built ceramic portrait, individually created from photographs in the distinctive Sculpted Souls style.

Portrait commissions start from £395. The £197.50 price shown above represents the 50% deposit for a standard commission.

Each portrait is sculpted by hand to capture character, personality and recognisable features rather than attempting photographic realism. The result is a completely individual ceramic sculpture, with the expressive surfaces, texture and imperfections that are central to my work.

How it works

If you're interested in commissioning a portrait, please get in touch first. We'll discuss who the portrait is of, what you're looking for and any features that are particularly important to you.

Once we've agreed the commission, I'll ask you to provide several clear reference photographs - ideally including front, three-quarter and side views.

I'll then interpret the sitter in clay in my own Sculpted Souls style. Features such as hairstyle, glasses, expression and clothing can all help bring their individual character into the finished piece.

Price

Bespoke ceramic portraits start from £395.

A 50% deposit is payable once your commission has been agreed, with the remaining balance due before collection or dispatch. Delivery is charged separately where required.

Please note: Any pickup availability shown on this page relates to Shopify's checkout settings. Your finished portrait will be ready for collection or dispatch within the timescale agreed for your commission.

Timescale

As every portrait is individually hand-built, dried, fired and finished, commissions will normally take approximately 6-8 weeks from the point the commission is agreed. I'll discuss the expected completion date with you before you pay your deposit.

An original interpretation

Sculpted Souls portraits are original works of art rather than exact reproductions of photographs. Your finished sculpture will be my interpretation of the sitter in the Sculpted Souls style.

Variations in form, surface, colour and expression are part of the handmade character of each piece, making every portrait completely unique.
